Liquid Robotics announced Caryn Nightengale, former director of corporate development for Boeing Defense, Space & Security, has transitioned from her role at Boeing to join the company as chief financial officer. In her new position, she is responsible for the financial management, information technology, contracts and global trade controls departments. She will report directly to Gary Gysin, president and CEO.

In accordance with its constitution, the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) announced that Bruno Faure (TechnipFMC), having completed his two-year term, has stepped down as president of IMCA; he remains on the board. Harke Jan Meek, chief commercial officer at Heerema Marine Contractors, now becomes IMCA’s new president and chairman of the board, and Iain Grainger, vice president of commercial at McDermott International Inc., becomes the new IMCA vice president.

Tim Charters joined the staff of the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) as senior director of governmental and political affairs. He came from the National Stripper Well Association, where he was vice president of governmental and regulatory affairs.

Valentin Hanns will join the Teledyne Marine group as the director of sales for vehicles in Europe and Africa. He will represent Teledyne Marine’s brands in the unmanned systems market.

Sean Fernback is now the CEO of Digital Marine Solutions Holding AS and the C-MAP Group. Fernback will focus on strengthening the product portfolio and developing and implementing the company’s strategic initiatives to grow the commercial and recreational divisions of the business.
